My memories of David encompass infancy through his teen years. David was an absolutely beautiful baby with perfect features and a smiling, happy disposition.
I remember learning he and his family were moving to our town in New Jersey, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to have relatives nearby. I’d often stop by their house after church on Sundays to visit and remember David singing “A Spanish Galleon” which was a favorite of his. It was a happy, busy household with five cousins to see and an aunt and uncle who were always warm and welcoming. I remember all the laughs we had as if it was yesterday
David, may you rest in peace and smile that beautiful smile in Heaven.

David,
Seeing this book a year or so late. Enjoyed reading the memories. I too remember Kayaking on the Delaware with Chucky and David. Don't remember all who attend, but I remember we had a good time.
I was one of the younger cousin in the Kluk family Joseph. I remember going to David's house in Ridgefield Park and visiting my Uncle Roman and Aunt Margie. And Glenda, Timmy, Cha-Chi, Chucky, David and Debbie Always remember good time there. I also remember visiting my cousin Jamie( Jim) and visited my Aunt Helen and Uncle Charlie's house.
Those memories and ingrained in my mind and I will never forget them. Fun times to grown up, but all the sadness that happens when you lose a family member. And that seemed to happen a lot in David's family. And now after all these years all our families.
Good times, wish I could spend a few hours back in the day.
See you all some day.
Joe

As Dave's SIL, what I remembered most about him is his kindness and how his smile and laughter would light up a room. I also remember many a springtime the fun he had kayaking down the Delaware with his brothers Jerry, my late husband, and Chuck.
RIP Dave. Love you,
Linda Rogala

One of the great things about growing up in Ridgefield was having a house full of cousins in town. Dave and his family lived next to the path between the apartments and the school, so they knew everyone. My good friend Dave, his brother Chuck and I bicycled everywhere back then. Dave made an observation that "rich people" don't bother to look for their change when they drop it. Back in the 60's we had outdoor pay telephones at various places in our town and beyond. They weren't close to each other. Ten cents would get you a local call. For fun, Dave and I would sometimes bicycle between phones in the morning and look for abandoned change on the ground from the night before. If we were persistent and lucky, we could come up with a dime and a nickle for lunch. At White Castle we could each get a burger and split an order of fries for fifteen cents while dreaming of finding an oasis of closely spaced parking meters. We also played a lot of chess together. His friendship will always be special and remembered. -- Cousin Jim

My last visit with David in July was a great one. I remember one day I made David a tuna salad sandwich for lunch. He absolutely loved it and ate it like he never had one before. I asked him if he would like another sandwich for the next day and he was happy that I would bring it to him. When we went back to visit the next day, we all had pizza for lunch. We were surprised that after eating the pizza he wanted to eat his tuna salad sandwich. I never seen him eat a sandwich so quickly and enjoy every bite. This is a memory that I will never forget. Hopefully, I will see you in Heaven, David.
Love you,
Cha-Chi

I am deeply sorry about David. I have many memories of him when he would come and visit his mother in Clarinda. I do remember him enjoying getting hugs and boy were they tight! I can hear him laughing right now about something silly someone would say. I loved David and his innocence. He would call my father dad, and that put a smile on my face because dad, my father, thought of everyone as part of his family, there will be a big hole in everyone’s lives because David is no longer here but he is joined with his family in Heaven and I am happy for that. May God bless all of his extended family and all of his friends.
Love,
Mary Brown
