So sad to see that Fred has passed away. We moved from Marshalltown, to Clarinda in 1975. This was my first time as a "new Iowa Electric manager". The crew knew that I was the "green horn", but did not take advantage of it. They were a great bunch of hard-working men. Yes, Fred showed me his archery (practice} range! He was very helpful, particularly in learning about management / union matters. I recall many things about Fred, but the one thing that stands out, was that he was a man of integrity. It's my prayer the family finds peace and comfort during this new season of their lives. Jim Mason
