Pam and family - The race guys have so many fun memories of going with Jack to the NASCAR races! Their most famous one that comes up regularly is when they stopped at a rest area and everyone bought some snacks. When they returned to the van Jack couldn't find his chocolate cupcakes. They even radioed to the other van to see if they got into that van by mistake. It wasn't until the next stop when they got out of the van they found them. Jack had sat on his cupcakes and needless to say they were very smashed into his pants!!!! We always enjoyed the get togethers for race trips and to watch races with Jack and the rest of the racing fans in Clarinda and know he and Norm are probably discussing those races in heaven! RIP Jack and condolences to all the family.

Dear Pam and Family, My love embraces you and walks with you, through grief as well as celebration of OUR beloved Jack! He was ALWAYS one of the pillars who brought strength and grace to our family! His standard greeting was "well hello Mr Woldruff, to which I replied Hello Mr Woldruff, as we warmly embraced or shook hands! Being more the age of his sister Dian, I only admired Jack as a youth! Of course an early memory was tagging along as he and Alan went squirrel hunting on the family farm. A few years later I remember his "picture" being held by sister Sandra for her Wedding with Darwin. Yes, Jack was serving our country in the US Navy and could not be present for the wedding! Another significant memory is Jack's generosity in helping his brother Alan with College expenses! Yes, he was a family member who would do WHATEVER he could, to make life happier and more fulfilling for those in his ever-reaching circle of community! I am very sad that I will not be present tomorrow, in person to offer a story or two, as Jack's Amazing Life is celebrated! I know Jack rests in peace in the heavenly Sprit World with all who have made this journey! Jack, I felt your love deeply ! Cousin Mark

I don't believe I ever saw Jack without a smile on his face. If for no other reason, that's a pretty good legacy to leave behind.

John worked with Jack at GTE and we became friends with he and Sharon at that time. Our kids still talk about going to Godfather's Pizza with them on Fri. or Sat. night. Jack was a great guy and we will always remember him with a smile on his face and his hand out to help with whatever needed doing. RIP Jack.

My sincere sympathy for all of Jacks family. I met Jack when we were in the CHS class of 1958. Jack was known for his outgoing personality and happy nature. After school our paths crossed when our jobs crossed. I will remember him fondly. Rest In Peace, Jack!
