Ed, we walked many steps together during your earthly life! The classrooms and playgrounds of Lincoln Elementary 7th grade at McKinley School, 8th grade at Garfield School, Boy Scouts, the halls and locker rooms of Clarinda High School, shoulder to shoulder at Cardinal Field, and later working for cooperating agencies for the State of Iowa. You were always reliable! Your wit and spin on life and world happenings always livened up any day! You helped an untold number of youth and adults during your earthly life. Most likely you were never aware of just how much you helped. As an example, I was visiting with one of my wife's high school classmates who made the statement, "Thank God for Mr. Kryselmire. He saved my sister's life, by getting her out of that house". That is a legacy that I believe exemplifies your life.
I am not sure how the "roar" of your collection of Cushmans will be received in Heaven, but I am sure you will give it a try.
Until we meet again, Larrie Palmer

Ed made a difference in so many lives. He will be greatly missed. I am proud to have known him, he was a wonderful uncle growing up. Ed always had a good word to say as he brought joy to so many. His legacy will live on forever until we see him again.

So sorry to hear that Ed is no longer with us in this world. He's living the good life in Heaven, cruising along on his Cushman, stopping to catch a fat trout in a stream and arranging a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Jesus. Ed was one of the good guys, always willing to help a downtrodden drunk get back on their feet... counseling them and getting them to a meeting. We've known Ed since the late 70's. Shared alot of good times and even a few bad times with him. He always made everyone he'd meet feel like a light in his life. His wry humor was something to behold.
God rest Ed's Soul and may Wendie and his children, grands and great-grands be at peace knowing he is with his Heavenly Father.
Until we meet again... Just two old friends saying goodbye for now.
