Sympathy to your family on the loss of your Mother. I went to school with JoAnn at East River through the years. I ran into her when your Grandmother was in Goldenrod. Always the same very nice lady.

Tina I'm so sorry to here of your mom's passing. I will never forget the first year my children and I moved back to Clarinda because your Mom and other family members adopted us for Christmas. It was quite a blessing as my son was fighting cancer. I thank God for her big heart. Even through the years when we would see her out and about she always knew us and spoke to us. From my family to yours our heartfelt condolences.

I enjoyed working with JoAnn at the HyVee deli. She taught me how to make the best biscuits and gravy, but never quite as good as hers. Customers would order B&G if they saw she was at the grill for breakfast. She had an enjoyable humor that made work easier. Her kindness was comforting and calming. I'm blessed to have known her.
My deepest sympathies for her family and loved ones.

So very sorry to hear of JoAnn's passing. We were neighbors in East River and classmates from grade school through high school. She was a very kind, gentle person, and I feel blessed to have known her. If there is indeed a Heaven, and if there are indeed angels in that Heaven, JoAnn is now there among them. My sympathies to the entire family. Peace be with you all.
