Heath, Auggie and Gunnar, Words can not express my sadness of losing your wife and mother and my beautiful friend-Rhea. She was one to make me laugh and forever be on my side. The memories of teaching with her for 11 years at Black Elk with forever stay in my heart. Rhea was passionate about so many things--she loved her husband and her boys with all of her heart. She loved her students and her students loved her. I will forever cherish my time with her and the friendship that we shared. God blessed me by putting Rhea Hedstrom in my life and I am better for it!

Rhea-I wish I could’ve known you better but I know Naw Naw loved you so very much. You were such a pleasant and giving person...willing to go above and beyond for others. I’m sorry for all the suffering you went through-and even then-always with a smile on your face. I pray for you and your boys. May you Rest In Peace.

My darling sister in law, it saddens me greatly that I didn’t have more time to spend with you in this life. You truly were an amazing and strong woman. My brother was a very lucky man to have had the love you gave him. I know you’re looking down over your sweet boys and the love and guidance you provided while on this earth will help them to grow and be the amazing men you would be proud of. You will always be in the hearts of everyone you have touched. Until we are all reunited in heaven, have a beer with dad for me. Love you! Cheryl

She made a huge difference in my sons' life, Parker Dahl. He was having a difficult time transitioning to 6th and she came to visit him. I surprised him and we he answered the door and seen her, he gave her the biggest hug! We all miss her. She was an angel on Earth for sure!
