God bless the family of Thelma.
She was a peach. I worked with Sgt. O.T. at Clarinda P.D. in the 80's. Both he and Thelma took care of our children in their home whenever we needed a sitter. One year I planted way too many tomatoes and O.T. came over and picked them and took them home to Thelma to can. What a relief, they didn't go to waste. I think of the Kent's quite often and cherished their friendship. Always enjoyed hearing about their kids and all the road trips O.T. and Thelma would take to be with family. Right now it may seem tough to be without both parents but your joyful memories will always warm your hearts.
