Obituary of Marilyn K Welch

Marilyn K. was born May 8, 1936 in Britt, Iowa to Glen and Myrtle (Moon)Rinehart.  Marilyn loved people and went on to college to become a teacher.  June 10^th 1960, she married Ed and to that union they had two children; Tobin and Melissa. 

She taught 3^rd grade in Clarinda for many years at McKinley and Lincoln Schools and after they moved in 1977 to Atlantic, she was a substitute teacher there. She was an Avon lady for years and loved to be outside but she really loved to bowl.  She bowled on a league for years and even when she couldn’t bowl any more, she would still go to the bowling alley and watch.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Don and Bob; sisters Audrey and Gladys and brother-in-law Reggie Welch.

She is survived by her husband Ed and children Tobin Welch and Melissa Welch; grandchildren Amanda, Koralee, Chloe and Jadica; sisters Mavis Nedved, Elanor (Bud) Stenzel and Norma (Dave) Harrison and many other relatives and friends.
