GINA BLOOMFIELD RANDOLPH Funeral services for Gina, 59 of Clarinda, will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at Walker-Merrick-Eickemeyer Funeral Chapel, Clarinda, with interment at Washington Cemetery, Gravity, Iowa. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Walker-Merrick-Eickemeyer Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to family choice to be determined later. Gina was born September 17, 1958 at Clarinda, Iowa to Victor and Nola (Williams) Bloomfield. Her military service family was stationed all over the world. She started school in 1962 in Murnau, Germany at the age of 4. She graduated high school in Omaha, Nebraska. Gina completed her education at Iowa Western Community College, Clarinda, with a licensed practical nurse diploma. In 1986 Terry Randolph and Gina were married at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Clarinda. She worked at Wilsons Foods and Lisle Corporation. She wanted to change her career path and with her nursing degree she could be of help to others. She worked at Good Samaritan, Villisca, home health, and the Clarinda Regional Health Center and Villisca Clinic. She was an avid runner participating in half marathons, 10k, 5k runs, and biking once participating in RAGBRAI. At home she loved to bake, watch Wheel of Fortune and Last Man Standing, listening to music, garden and grow her flowers. Gina was a compassionate person helping any person or animal that needed a helping hand or meal. Gina passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at Clarinda Regional Health Center, Clarinda, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Terry Randolph, and father Victor Bloomfield. She is survived by children: Jasmine (Piers) Bishop, Liverpool, England, Ben (Annie) Randolph, Sheldahl, Iowa, Cooper Randolph, Clarinda, Iowa, and Sean Richards, Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren Cameron and Aiden Richards, Oscar Bishop, and Clayton Randolph; mother Nola Bloomfield, Clarinda, Iowa; siblings Gail (Mike) Conte, Yorktown, Iowa, and Kim Subbert, Omaha, Nebraska; Betsy and Lucy her boxer babies, and Tootsie the cat; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
