He graduated Nodaway Holt High School and went on to study vocational technical courses. As with most boys Jerry spent time trapping, fishing, coon hunting and always took pride in his beagles. As years went by he enjoyed NASCAR and was dedicated in his work, earning 100% production for years at Lisle Corporation; however, his real passion and treasure was his daughter, Kirby, her husband and his grandchildren. Jerry enjoyed western movies and recently his granddaughters had him watching “Frozen.” He was very proud of his daughter and family. Jerry passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home in Clarinda, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Linda Jean Gibson and her husband Larry “Hoot” Gibson; brother Billy Rex Morrow; and brother-in-law Bill Davis. He is survived by his daughter Kirby Smith and her husband Dale of Bedford, Iowa; her children Neveah and Pyper; brother Terry Morrow and wife Glenys of Graham, Missouri, Ronnie Morrow of Maryville, Missouri, and Scott Morrow and wife Cindy of Valley Falls, KS; sister Leslie Davis of Maryville, Missouri; wife Norma Morrow of Albany, MO; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
