Funeral services for Sarah Depew, 93, New Market, Iowa will be held 11 am Friday, February 15, at Walker-Merrick-Eickemeyer Funeral Chapel with interment at Memory Cemetery in New Market, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Family Choice. Walker-Merrick-Eickemeyer Funeral Chapel, Clarinda, is providing arrangements. Sarah Hazeltine was born September 26, 1925 to John A and Ruth (Miller) Dennis in rural Taylor County Iowa and entered into rest February 11, 2019 at Golden Rod Nursing Home. Sarah has 2 brothers, Marvin and Paul. Sarah attended school in New Market, Iowa and met the love of her life at church. Donald Paul and Sarah were united in marriage May 24, 1951 at the Christian Church in New Market. Sarah taught school for many years in New Market. Sarah enjoyed sewing, listening to music and playing the piano in her spare time. Sarah was involved in the Christian church doing many activities. Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers Marvin and Paul Dennis and sisters-in-law Inez Jo Depew and Leila Depew She is survived by her sister-in-law Rhea N Dennis and many nieces and nephews.
