Obituary of Gary James Hagey

 Gary James Hagey was born on April 8, 1952, in Maryville, MO. To James Harold and Joyce Iola (Davison) Hagey. He grew up and attended school in rural Page County, East River Township, before graduating from Clarinda High School. 

After high school, Gary enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served from 1973 to 1976, where he received a national defense medal.

In addition to farming, Gary was later self-employed as a truck driver hauling cattle. He enjoyed raising crops and raising livestock occasionally, and in his spare time he would get a little fishing in.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jim and Joyce Hagey.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Frances, children Jessica (Trevor) Gray, Jamie Zeman, and two sons from a previous marriage; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and sister Peggy (Terry) Johnson, along with many other family members and friends.
