I knew Betty through our shared love of the Strand Lutheran church and its many activities. I quilted beside her, we helped serve children whether it was bibile school or sunday school etc. Betty always had a strong conviction for her faith, I felt, and a determination to serve for what she felt was in the best interest of the church.
