Obituary of Dianna Joe Baker

Our beautiful daughter, mother, and wife Dianna “Joby” Baker (Boysen) lost her battle with cancer on January 20, 2024, at the Clarinda Regional Hospital, where she was treated with love and care.

Dianna “Joby” was born on April 08th, 1972 in Clarinda, Iowa, to Jack and Christine (Larson) Baker.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Boysen of Clarinda, Iowa, daughter Lanee Joe Harmsen of Clarinda, Iowa, mother Christine Baker of Clarinda, Iowa, sister Dawn Woodard and her partner Troy Nieman of Clarinda, Iowa, brother Jason (Wendy) Baker of Clarinda, Iowa, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles and a special aunt Lea Lininger who was like a second mother.

She was preceded in death by her father Jack Baker, grandparents Ivan (Anada) Larson, and Maynard (Agnes) Baker.

Dianna was a beautiful soul full of love for her family and her Lord and Savior. She loved music, camping, family get-togethers, and her cats. She also loved her job as a healthcare worker, where she had spent the last 17 years. Dianna “Joby” always had a strong mindset. No one could ever do it right except for her dad, who she loved so much. Now they rest together in our Heavenly Father's arms.
