I was so sorry to hear about Dottie's passing. I just found out today March 7th. I felt so sad for you all in Clarinda, Omaha and family far away from Iowa, too.
Dottie was so sweet and caring!
We exchanged letters, cards, recipes and phone calls over the years she was married to Rex.
I will really miss her and her sincere dedication to keeping in touch and sharing what was going on in her life. It's so true that people who live in small towns like Clarinda and Shenandoah are so down to earth and great friends and relatives to chat with and share family news.....& her favorite coloring art..... (she got me interested too) I loved her creative artistic ways.
Simple pleasures and so pretty and meaningful to receive. I've saved them all.
My deepest heartfelt sympathy across the miles to all of Dottie's friends and family. Your mom will be missed!
