Rosalene Mae (Arterburn) Moser passed away on July 21, 2022, surrounded by her family. “Rosie” was born on May 3, 1938, to Elwin and Mae Arterburn in Glenwood, Iowa.
Rosie graduated from the Villisca, Iowa High School in 1957 and from Commercial Extension Business College in Omaha in1958. She married James L. Moser, and they had two children: Daniel and David. Rosie, her husband, and her boys spent the next 30 years on a whirlwind trip around the U.S. Rosie established loving family homes in Nebraska,
Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, South Dakota, Utah, Rhode Island, Michigan and finally retired in Evergreen, Colorado. Rosie was the quintessential Homemaker!!
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mae and Elwin Arterburn, her brother, William “Bill” Arterburn, her sister, Judy Arterburn and her beloved son, David Moser.
She is survived by her husband: James L. Moser, sister, Gail Golden, sisters-in-law, Kay Dixon and Linda Gary, son, Daniel Moser (Sandra), daughter-in-law, Louise Porter (Kurt), six grandchildren: James Moser (Jenn), Christina Moser, Ashley Scherer (Eli), Jeremy Moser, Allie Porter, Jenna Porter, three great-grand kids: Tyler, Zachary and Lucas and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Rosie was a hard-working, fun-loving woman who was dedicated to spoiling her family. She will be missed by so many.
