Obituary of Joyce Sparr

Joyce A Sparr, 75, of Clarinda, IA Passed away surrounded by her beloved family, May 28, 2022, of Natural causes at Clarinda Regional Health Care.

Joyce was born May 2, 1947, in California.  She was married to Robert Sparr of Clarinda, IA on May 26, 1965.

Joyce and Bob spent the beginning part of their life together traveling as Bob was in the Navy. Joyce had the experience of living in the Philippines and multiple other bases before settling back in the Midwest with Bob and their daughter.  Joyce and family lived in a small home at Viking Lake State Park for over 30 years before moving to the Clarinda area.  She loved hummingbirds and chickens.  She also loved Coke products and collected many Coke branded items.

Joyce is survived by her husband Robert Sparr of Clarinda, IA, daughter Joy and son-in-law Tony Render of Shambaugh; grandchildren, Nicole Sparr, Austin Meads, Levi Meads, and Karter Render of Shambaugh/Clarinda, IA area, great-grandson Jaxon Potter of Clarinda, IA, sister, Sue Wilburn of Redding, CA, and beloved Boston Terrier Rusty.

It was requested no services be held.  A private memorial with immediate family will be held at a later date.
