Obituary of Alec Ryan Woldruff

Alec Ryan Woldruff was born in Clarinda, Iowa to Wendell and Mia (Lefler) Woldruff on October 31, 1986. He passed away in his home on May 13, 2022.

He grew up in Clarinda, on the family farm, helping his dad with all the chores, whether it be cattle or fixing fence. He graduated from Clarinda high school in 2005 and from there went to Northeast Iowa community college for the John Deere AG tech program. After receiving his degree, he worked rebuilding tractors and farming for local farmers.

Alec’s passions included riding four-wheelers with friends, fishing, and truck pulling, but his biggest passion was being an outdoorsman.  On his days off you could find him doing anything outdoors.  Whether it be shed hunting in the spring, planting food plots in the summer or hunting in the fall.  He loved putting his friends in his tree stands and would be so excited when they would have success.

Alec is preceded in death by his infant brother Adam, grandpa James and grandma Arleen (Clarinda, IA), grandpa, Edward Lefler (Hamilton, IL), aunt, Denise Kinman (Hamilton, IL), and uncle, Kevin Woldruff (New Market, IA)

He is survived by his daughter Aaliyah Woldruff of Clarinda, fiancé Erin Robeson of Coin along with her children Cole, Lexi, and Lane, parents Wendell and Mia Woldruff (Clarinda), brothers Ethan (Amber) Woldruff of Clarinda and their children Waverly, and Jayce, Mark Woldruff of Cedar Rapids, IA and his children; Peyton, Avery, and Kamden,  Kory (Janelle)  Woldruff of Lisbon, IA and their children Hannah, and Chloe, aunt Marnice (Dave) McComb of Clarinda, aunt Sheryl Merone of Minnesota, aunt Lori (Todd) Lewis of Hamilton, IL and grandma Lois Lefler of Hamilton, IL along with other family and many friends.
