Obituary of Lorry Lou Atkins

Lorry Lou Atkins was born January 16, 1939, in Maitland, Missouri and entered into rest May 11, 2022, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lorry was born to Homer Lee and Mildred May (Bomar) Landess. She was 1 of 8 children. Growing up, she really enjoyed helping people. She enjoyed her simple life and loved sharing that with her friends and family. Lorry worked in a nursing facility for several years and raised her children pretty much on her own. She loved her children, but really loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Lorry is preceded in death by her parents Homer Lee and Mildred May Landess, son David Adams, grandson Jeremy Ribbey and great-granddaughter Makyia Fritz; sisters Lois Stump, Daisy Spurgin, and Mamie Ruth Landess; brothers Rollie Landess and John Landess.

Survived by her children, Terrlyn Ribbey, Becky (Allen) Kent, Homer (Sandy) Adams, Mildred (Mike) McNeese, Ted (Sonia) Edwards, Lindia Edwards, and Micheal (Patty) Atkins, daughter-In-Law Tonia Foster; sisters Doris Hoy and Patsy Miller along with 27 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
