Obituary of Sharon Ann Ayers

Sharon Ann Ayers, 82, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, from Alzheimer's disease in hospice care at Dunlap Specialty Care.

Sharon, a loving and dedicated mother to a family of five, was brought into this world on November 24, 1939, to Elmer and Hazel Gray. After graduating from Villisca High School in 1957, Sharon started work in the medical field and retired in 2017. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of her life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was supportive, kind, funny, and we will all miss her dearly.

Sharon was predeceased by her father and mother, Elmer, and Hazel Gray; brothers, Neal, Carl, Roger; sisters Dorothy, Violet. She is survived by her sons, Galen, and Troy; daughters Dawnata, Dayandrea, Nyghtonya and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
