Obituary of Janeen Trujillo

Janeen passed away unexpectedly after a surgery on January 9, 2022, at Bryan Medical Center West.

Janeen Elaine (Walker) Trujillo was born May 25th, 1958, to Kenneth and Ruth Walker in Wichita, Kansas. When Janeen was 5 the family relocated to the Clarinda area where she attended school until graduating from high school in 1977.

June 2^nd, 1979, Janeen married her high school sweetheart, Brian Braymen. July 28^th, 1982, the couple welcomed their only child, Lacey. In May 1985, the couple parted ways and at that time Janeen and Lacey moved back to Clarinda with Janeen’s parents. In 1988 Janeen relocated to Denver, Colorado for a fresh start and was later joined by Lacey.  November 17^th, 1988, Janeen married Ray Trujillo and gained 5 bonus children, after Ray passed away Janeen moved back to Clarinda to be close to her family until her move to Neligh, Nebraska.

Janeen spent her time helping the children learn and grow into the people they are today, working tax season at H&R Block, spending time with friends, and enjoying time at church. Janeen was spunky and full of life. She loved to travel with her friends and family, taking in all the scenery. Janeen loved country music and enjoyed attending concerts with Sharon, Lacey, and her grandchildren.  She instilled her love of music in the children as well. She had a knack for remembering birth, marriage dates of generations of the family. Most recently she took up diamond painting. She made several for her family and friends. Janeen’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, all 15 of them.  Janeen also had a strong and special bond with each of her siblings.  Janeen was loved and will be missed by so many people.

She was met at the gates of heaven by her husband Ray Trujillo, parents Kenny and Ruth Walker, brother Roger Meyer, brother-in-law Jeff Salway, and niece Kristie Kalani.

Janeen is survived by her daughter Lacey (Tommy) le of Neligh, NE., bonus children: Sharon (Norman), Renae, Louise, Della (Jerry), Mark; grandchildren:  Hannah, Raina, Anthony, Candice, Sonny, Sydney, Isabelle, Marissa, Megan, Mariah, Timmy, Jeremy, Julian, Jina, Jonah and 2 great-grandsons; sisters Carol (Donnie) Ward of Clarinda, Ginger Salway of Villisca, Connie (Jim) Cole of New Market, brother Kenneth Spud (fiancé Debbie) Walker of New Market; nephews Kevin (Faye) Sprague of Colorado Springs, CO, Kyle (Olivia) Walker of Moore, OK, Riad (Kalani) of Orlando, FL. ; nieces Sandy Laurer of Overland Park, KS, and Julie Mouchum of Florida; aunts Joyce Hagemeier and Pat Moore, as well as Janeen’s best friends Lori and Bill Ferguson, Janice Vaughn, and many other friends.
