Nancy Lurlene (Coston) Wayman was born on June 9th, 1944, to (Thomas) Walter Coston and Verla (Moore) Coston of New Market, Iowa.

 

Nancy loved playing basketball in high school and her senior year received a scholarship which she was very proud of, she loved playing basketball. After high school, she later married Richard Allen Wayman on March 22, 1969. She worked at a few different places throughout her life in a factory and a few sewing factories, and later retired from Pella Windows after 10yrs. Once she retired, she and Richard spent their time camping at Lake Icaria, in Corning, Iowa they also enjoyed boating there and fishing. She loved the outdoors and wildlife and just being with her children and grandkids. Nancy loved traveling and seeing new places and taking pictures of animals and flowers, she saw the beauty in life. She traveled with her children and grandkids to Colorado, the Black Hills and Montana to name a few. She also enjoyed playing cards at the community center with the lady’s that she lived by.

 

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents, brothers Darrel, Harold, and Gary, sister-in-law Diane Achenbach daughter Anita Lynn, grandsons Cody and Trey.

 

Nancy is survived by 3 daughters, Jodie (Brian) Taylor-Elmquist of Stanton, Iowa, Tracy (Lonney) Terry of Red Oak, Iowa, Erin (Jason) Sanders of Hawleyville, Iowa; grandchildren, Keaton, Jade, Paige, Dillon,

Kaylee, Sydney, and Breanna; 7 great-grandchildren Brody, Abel, Athena, Treigen, Kayson, Grayson & Mason, sister Waneta (Tom) Gibson of Clarinda, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Pauline Coston of Coin, Iowa, and Fran Coston of Montana; brothers-in-law, James (Mary) Wayman of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Gary (Debra) Wayman of Cleveland, Texas, and Mike Wayman, Independence, Missouri.
