Obituary of Marsha May Chambers

Marsha May Chambers, 69, of Red Oak, IA, passed away on March 10, 2021, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Marsha was born in Omaha, NE to Leone Margaret Newland and Kenneth I. Teeters on Aug. 4, 1951. She went to high school at Benson High and as a CNA at the VA Medical Center. Marsh was a reverent member of her family and storyteller of days gone by. She enjoyed playing Pinochle, Bingo and outings to the casino whenever she had a chance. She cherished her life-long friend Helena Roy and husband Walt Roy of Redding, CA and her dog Little Man. A resilient and positive force throughout her life, Marsha embodied generosity and had a lighthearted demeanor; including any who crossed her path. She was involved in the American Legion Auxiliary in Clarinda. Marsha is survived by her children Caroline Chambers of Eureka Springs, AR and Rex Chambers of Eureka Springs, AR, Sister Karon Yeatman of Valdosta, GA, Sister-in-law Catherine Sandberg of Sun City, AZ, 3 grandchildren, Ryan Chambers, Victoria (Tori) Ray, and Alexia (Lexi) Ray, and 5 nieces Lisa Yeatman, Denise Taylor, Vicky Teeters, Kim Barnett and Jennifer Teeters and 2 nephews John Yeatman and John Yeatman. She is preceded in death by the father of her children Charles Chambers of Colcord, OK, and her brother Richard Teeters of Omaha and brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Yeatman of Valdosta, GA.
