Edward passed away quietly in his sleep, in his home, on October 21, 2018.
He was born to Henry Charles VerLinden and to Bertha Ethel Brieden on May 11, 1941, in Roseville, Michigan.
He married Martha Jean Clark on April 4, 1965, in Bell Flower, California.
Together they had three daughters: Jennifer Susan, Katrina Jean, and Melissa Anne.
He is survived by his wife, his daughters, and four grandchildren.
Wolfe Funeral Home, Villisca, assisted with arrangements.
