Marvin Douglas McKinnon was born August 31, 1945, to Donald and Leah (Duncan) McKinnon in Clarinda, Iowa.
Marvin grew up and graduated from high school in Clarinda. In May 1964, he married Sandra Sump. Together they had 5 children, Damion, Greg, Mark, Kim, and Michele.
Marvin worked sales in shoes and cars. He loved to look at old cars and spending time with his grandchildren. He had a great love for the Green Bay Packers! “Go Pack Go”
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Max, Lee, Donnie, Bob and Lynn, sisters, Leona, and Diana.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 56 years, his children, Damion (Nicole) McKinnon, Greg McKinnon and Danette, Mark McKinnon and Michelle, Kim (Dave) Miller, Michele (Scott) McKinnon-Johnson, sister Marilyn Wells, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren along with many other family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
